With diligence and patience, ALC has built a proven track record of turning ambitious projects into reality—from planning and design to pre-construction. We navigate challenges like zoning restrictions, changing building codes, and unexpected obstacles through close collaboration with local and state agencies and active community involvement. ALC takes a hands-on approach, securing the necessary approvals and entitlements for even the most complex development projects.
A notable example of our work is the transformation of a condemned 19-unit condominium building in South Jersey, just steps from the Atlantic Ocean. Over a three-year period, which began during the COVID-19 pandemic, ALC spearheaded the acquisition, entitlement, pre-development, and development of the property. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the project was completed successfully and sold out within 15 months from the date of entitlements, thereby delivering significant returns to its investors.
Over a nine-year period, ALC’s principal led the acquisition, construction and development of over 1,000 apartment units for a leading local operator/manager. This initiative resulted in a market value increase of more than $500 million in the post-COVID era.
